emansilI'm super surprised, and pleased, that I've been able to keep this up. I suspect it won't be for much longer. I'm not going to have the time for reading much in a week or two. But there is still at least todays recs.
The Soldier and the Hurricane by copperbadge fandom: Marvel Iron Man, Captain America;
Relationship: James Bucky Barnes and Tony Stark.
Summary: When the Winter Soldier fails to kill Howard and Maria Stark and is taken prisoner in the summer of 1967, his salvation comes in the unlikely form of a Russian-speaking, father-disobeying, endlessly-tinkering seventeen-year-old: Tony Stark.
Wow! This was so good, and something I'd never thought about before, the perfect possibility of Bucky and teenage Tony. They're like the perfect lethal combination. If Tony Stark doesn't kill the bad guy with his constant chatter, there's always Bucky to come in and finish the job.
Tony is perfect in this. I’m super excited to see where the rest of the series goes.
hold your breath and fall by arinondack fandom: The Raven Cycle; Relationship: Richard Gansey III/Adam Parrish
Summary: It’s not the first time they’ve ended up in Gansey’s bed, half naked and pressed into each other, but it is the first time that Adam’s gone for Gansey’s belt instead of his back, the first time that Gansey has slipped his hand down the front of Adam’s jeans instead of up under his shirt, the first time “God, Adam, touch me” has been hissed and gotten a response.
First time Adansey sex feat. Gansey's sex fantasies and ridiculously sensitive neck (which Adam doesn't know about).
This made my heart so happy. I love Adam and Gansey, in all forms. I love them as friends, I love them as partners, and after this--It seems I love them especially in this type of relationship. :) It seems so obvious from the way Gansey watches Adam, how he wants so much to do and say and be what Adam needs, when it is in reality Gansey that needs Adam.
The D/s dynamic that is here, is fucking amazing. And so exactly as I envisioned it would be.
Things You’ve Told Him all Along by: thirdeyeblinkings fandom: Harry Potter; relationship: Harry Potter/Draco Malfoy
Summary: Anonymous fire calls, blind dates, awkward run-ins, and kissing in the d-a-r-k. But besides all that, a story about hiding, coming out, and starting over (and over).
Really enjoyable story about Harry and Draco both being in hiding and how through confidential crisis line counseling, and blind dating (of the extremely seriously blind kind they find one another again. Both coming to the understanding that they’ve known and felt a bond to the other for so much of their lives, that this was almost like coming home.
And my god, the banter between two is completely priceless.
