I'm looking for help of a totally different kind.

I keep getting emails from people I don't know that for some reason seem to think I'm some sort of editor. Subject lines range from: Dear Editor, Research on things to do in New York, Dear Editor, Research on how to make a documentary, Dear Editor, research on workout routines, etc.

I've no idea why them seem to think I've anything to do with bein an editor. But for some reason, I think they may be coming through Live Journal, possibly because of the fact of having changed my emansil name multiple times, but I've always had to same email address. That hasn't changed.

Now, I've not opened any of them, you know the whole possible spam/phishing thing. And I feel bad, if these are legit and they some how think I'm a real editor and they're waiting for me to respond.

Any ideas on how I resolve this: should I open them and respond directly, should I contact LJ in regards to it? Or should I find a way (no idea how) to contact gmail and let them know. I

Its been happening for about 4 months or longer. I'd really appreciate any advice you can give me.
